Folly, 2017

We spent much of 2017 working on design development in collaboration with James Corner Field Operations on a sculpture for the weekend home of a private collector in the Hudson valley. We closed the year with the installation of the first of two monumental sculptures for the property; set in a natural clearing rising twenty feet into the sky and extending sixty feet down a gentle slope Folly will be integrated into a trail network as part of a comprehensive landscape plan by Field Operations. In 2018, a second sculpture is planned to span the swale created by the seasonal creek that bisects the property.
